Take a scenic drive along Highway 62 & spend a night at romantic Rose Cottage in Canaan. Your hosts, Norma and Fred Tuttle, provide a full breakfast or some of Norma's famous “made from scratch” muffins and sweet breads.

Available in July.  It will be available any day of the week all year long.  I will require a two week advance notice and a $100.00 deposit to secure the package.  I do not take credit cards.

WHAT YOU GET:

The cottage for two nights...at least two persons required.  I can take up to four.  The Country Rose Room is available for larger groups.
Inspirational movies to watch and a basket of "goodies" to enjoy.  Gospel music to listen to and relax.  Lesson sheets teaching about "praying the word" and "models" to help you grow in prayer.
Candy making class and needed supplies and recipes.

One light breakfast, one full breakfast
Two light lunches, and a voucher for dinner in Madison.

PRICE:  $400.00 per couple...$100 for each extra person.

FIRST NIGHT:

Settle into your home for the next two nights.  Relax in the cottage or my home with a light
sandwich supper and dessert.
If the weather is nice, you can take a prayerwalk in the garden or stroll the village of Canaan.  You can play some yard games or read an inspirational book.  Later, you will have inspirational movies to watch or books to read.  

CHOCOLATE MORNING:

Nine A.M...wake up to a light breakfast of cereal, fruit and warm
muffins.  After breakfast, your host will teach about prayer using the "model" and

the book, Praying God's Word, by Beth Moore.  Then you can "practise" what you've learned by walking through the garden and using the scriptures provided to do a prayer walk.  We will also discuss how to begin writing your prayers in a prayer journal.  Your host will prepare your chocolate-marking adventure while you are in the garden.  readies your candy-making adventure.  Learn how to make molded chocolate. After packing up your sweet treats and supplies ( or eating some),
Norma will serve you a light lunch.

HISTORIC AFTERNOON AND EVENING:

After lunch, you can tour historic downtown Madison and visit  the
unique antique malls and shops
in our city. 
When you finish your afternoon, you
can use your food vouchers to eat at one of Madison's fine restaurants.  You may choose Italian, steakhouse or buffet style dining.  You must choose which restaurant when making your resesrvaton.

Then come home to Rose Cottage and relax in the jacuzzi tub, read a good book and enjoy a quiet evening in the country.  It would be a good time to meditate on all the blessings that God has given you or begin your prayer journal.

HEADING HOME:

At nine A.M., wake up to a full country breakfast.  Then pack up and
head home with all your
chocolates and supplies to make your own chocolates at home.
